【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoproducetransversecompressivepropertydataformaterialspecifications,researchanddevelopment,qualityassurance,andstructuraldesignandanalysis.Factorsthatinfluencethetransversecompressiveresponseandshouldthereforebereportedare:material,methodofmaterialpreparation,specimenpreparation,specimenconditioning,environmentoftesting,specimenalignmentandgripping,speedoftesting,voidcontent,andfibervolumefraction.Propertiesinthetestdirectionthatmaybeobtainedfromthistestmethodare:5.1.1Transversecompressivestrength,x03C3;22uc,5.1.2Transversecompressivestrainatfailure,x03B5;22uc,5.1.3Transversecompressivemodulusofelasticity,E22,and5.1.4Poissonrsquo;ratio,x03B3;21.1.1Thistestmethoddeterminesthetransversecompressivepropertiesofwoundpolymermatrixcompositesreinforcedbyhigh-moduluscontinuousfibers.Itdescribestestingofhoopwound(90)cylindersinaxialcompressionfordeterminationoftransversecompressiveproperties.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetexttheinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
