【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestohand-heldinstrumentsusedforthedetectionandidentificationofradionuclides,thedetectionofneutronradiationandtheindicationoftheambientdoseequivalentratefromphotonradiation.ThisstandarddoesnotapplytotheperformanceofradiationprotectioninstrumentationwhichiscoveredinIEC60846.Itisrecognizedthatfrontlinelaw-enforcementofficers,whoaregenerallynotradiationexperts,mayuseinstrumentscoveredbythisstandard.Thisrequiresuser-friendlyinstrumentdesignandoperationwithahighdegreeofinherentsafety.Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsforhand-heldphotonspectrometers,inparticularforthedetectors,theelectronicmulti-channelanalyzers,theidentificationsoftware,theradionuclidelibraries,andtheinstrumentdisplay.Itfurtherspecifiesgeneralcharacteristics,generaltestprocedures,radiationcharacteristics,aswellaselectrical,mechanical,safety,andenvironmentalcharacteristics.Thisstandardprovidesguidelinesforselectingsuitableradionuclidelibrariescoveringradioactivematerialsthathavebeenmostfrequentlydetectedatbordercrossings.ThisstandardreferstoinstrumentationwhichmaybeusedforthepurposesdescribedinISO22188.Thisstandardmaybeusedforinstrumentsthatdonothaveneutronresponsecapabilities,inwhichcase,neutronresponserequirementsdonotapply.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverlaboratorytype,high-resolutionphotonspectrometers.
