【摘要】:Thismethodisfordeterminingplatinumbynon-differentialspectrophotometryinchloroplatinicacid(CPA)solutionsthatarehomogeneousandfreeofprecipitate.Platinumconcentrationsintherangeof20to30mass-%aretypicallydetermined,butthemethodisnotlimitedtothisrange.Platinumcannotbedeterminedinthepresenceofrhenium,iridiumandrhodium,whichproducecoloredionsduringthecolordevelopmentstepandwillcauseapositiveerror.However,theseelementsarenotexpectedtobepresentinquantitiesthatinterfereafterthedilutionstepspecifiedinthismethod.
